Cozy Support Copper Sleeve – Hand
(Glove)
Therapeutic Cozy products are interwoven with threads of copper complex. This is why Cozy products are conductive like copper. The human body is slightly electrified so that when you wear the conductive Cozy products, about 200 mV of voltage is made between the skin and the Cozy product. The light electrical current flows (about 1 uA) and aides in circulation to relax.
Cozy products are recommended for those who suffer from joint pain, sore muscles, numbness, dullness and coldness. They are also effective for people who sit in the office all day or play sports.
These gloves are good to wear during sleep. If your hands or fingers feel cold and fatigued, these gloves will help you sleep comfortably and warm.

First of all, thank you very much for purchasing Cozy Support products from Elam Sports O`ahu. It is a line of products from Japan that we have used with great success with our patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. To address your question regarding the polyurethane in the fabric, most elastic fabrics (including Spandex) contain polyurethane fibers. The polymer is what makes for a “stretchy” material. The form that is used in the elastic material is a fully reacted polyurethane polymer which hapens to be chemically inert (inactive). There are no exposure limits set by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and the ACGIH (American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists), which means these governmental agencies do not deem exposure to this form of polyurethane as harmful. If polyurethane is decomposed through fire, it can release some vapors that if inhaled excessively can cause harm. As you may have noticed on the packaging under “instructions for care” the Kozy products are not to be placed in the dryer.
For more information, a google search through the sites at PMA (Polyurethane Manufacturers Association) and the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) may be helpful.
